- carry out tests on trees for the presence of virus diseases using serological and biological methods,
- free plants from virus diseases through thermotherapy,
- maintain pre-elite plant material in insect-proof glasshouses, prepare young trees for setting up seed orchards, mother plant orchards and commercial orchards (performing grafting using our own or customerʹ grafts).
